Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 7–12 years of structural engineering experience in water, wastewater, industrial, or construction projects.
• Saudi Arabia experience with SCE certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SBC, ACI, ASTM, AWWA, and NWC specs.
• Ability to prepare calculations, reports, specs, BOQs and cost estimates.
• Experience with concrete and steel structures and water infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural design calculations for concrete tanks, steel structures and other concrete structures.
• Prepare and review detailed structural design reports per company standards and client requirements.
• Prepare priced and unpriced BOQs and project cost estimates.
• Develop structural specifications and technical documentation.
• Create, review, and coordinate engineering drawings and specifications.
• Guide draftsmen and BIM/modeling teams for tender and design drawings.
• Conduct structural calculations, simulations, load assessments, and capacity checks.
• Carry out civil load/capacity calculations and support equipment/material selection.
• Develop water and wastewater network designs using appropriate software.
• Manage activities and coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
• Review designs for compliance with codes and client specs.
• Provide QA/QC for engineering deliverables and project work.

• Prepare detailed structural design calculations based on field data, sound engineering assumptions, applicable codes, and standards for a variety of structures, including concrete and steel water tanks, steel structures, and other concrete structures.
• Prepare and review detailed structural design reports in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
• Prepare priced and unpriced Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed project cost estimates.
• Develop project structural specifications and technical documentation.
• Create, review, and coordinate engineering drawings and specifications.
• Guide draftsmen and BIM/modeling teams in producing required tender and design drawings.
• Perform structural calculations, simulations, load assessments, and capacity checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of designs.
• Carry out civil load/capacity calculations and support the selection and design of appropriate equipment and materials.
• Develop water and wastewater network designs using appropriate engineering software.
• Manage structural engineering activities and coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7–12 years of relevant structural engineering experience, preferably within water, wastewater, industrial, or construction projects.
• Minimum 7 years of in-Kingdom (Saudi Arabia) experience.
• Previous experience in a managerial or senior engineering capacity is preferred.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) certification.
• Professional Engineer certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in structural design of concrete and steel structures.
• Experience with water and wastewater structures, including water tanks and related infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering codes and standards, including SBC, ACI, ASTM, AWWA, and NWC specifications.
• Ability to prepare structural calculations, design reports, technical specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and review engineering and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of construction materials, concrete structures, steel structures, and construction engineering.
• Understanding of CAD/BIM workflows and structural modeling.
