Job summary

Thoughtworks in Riyadh is seeking a Lead Experience Designer to drive AI-powered product experiences in a fast-growing Middle East team. You will own end-to-end design from concept to shipped product, collaborating with product, data/AI specialists and engineers in tight, multidisciplinary pods.

You will shape agentic AI interactions, build scalable design capabilities, and lead with a human-centered, accessible approach while guiding client relationships across the region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product design and end-to-end ownership of shipped digital products.
• Experience leading design on large-scale programs and senior stakeholder groups.
• Expertise in user research, journey mapping, wireframing, and rapid prototyping.
• Design for AI and data-driven products with AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead experience design across all engagement phases and guide rapid prototyping.
• Shape conversational, multi-modal, and autonomous agent flows with trust and transparency.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research while maintaining craft and usability.
• Conduct lightweight research and champion accessibility and inclusive design.
• Build and govern design systems in partnership with engineering for consistency.
• Advise clients at executive levels and shape engagements and proposals.
