Job summary

Nalco Water is launching a 6‑month training program in Dammam for fresh graduates with a bachelor’s degree in chemical or industrial engineering. The program emphasizes hands‑on field training, technical lessons, and leadership exposure, with a clear path toward professional engineering roles.

The program includes on‑site field service, site surveys, product audits, samples collection, and collaboration with sales on proposals, all while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering is required.
• Capable of independently supporting assigned customers.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Required autonomy and self-motivation.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to interact with customer personnel successfully and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site field service
• Conduct site surveys, product/application audits
• Inventory management of chemical delivery systems
• Collect samples for monitoring chemical programs
• Manage chemical deliveries to customers when and as needed
• Conduct field evaluation of new products
• Lead appropriate pre-trial or survey for site visits
• Interact with appropriate internal and external customers and resources
• Maintain accurate records based on information gathered during trials, surveys
• Prepare reports detailing problems and solutions to initiate necessary corrective product modification and/or recommend process changes
• Create troubleshooting service guides and bulletins on existing products
• Coordinate and manage sampling and inventory schedules
• Coordinate implementing solutions with customers
• Assist sales in preparing business proposals
• Participate in design reviews, new applications and start-ups evaluations
• Assist in critiquing products’ serviceability, performance and reliability
• Provide customers with expert technical service in all major applications
• Support and be committed to the team’s Quality Improvement Process
• Follow both company and customer safety regulations
• Solve a wide range of complex, multi-disciplinary problems which must consider short and intermediate need
