Job summary

Saint-Gobain GCC is seeking an entry-level Accountant to join our finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will support daily accounting tasks, ensure accurate records, and assist with month-end close and audits.

The role offers exposure to VAT compliance within a multinational group. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, up to 2 years of experience, and values accuracy, timeliness, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Professional certification (SOCPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Prepare and process journal entries.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and invoices.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain employee expense records and reimbursement documentation.
• Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Support tax, VAT, and statutory compliance activities.
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

0-2 years of accounting experience
