Job summary

Smart is seeking an accountant with 1–3 years of experience to handle daily accounting tasks, invoicing, bank reconciliations, and support for VAT and ZATCA compliance in Saudi Arabia. You will work with ERP systems and maintain accurate financial records while coordinating with auditors.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel skills, and excellent English, with attention to detail and strong organization. Saudi market experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–3 years of accounting experience
• Experience in the Saudi market is required
• Basic knowledge of Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems
• Very Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Very Good command of English
• Attention to detail
• Strong organization skills

Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions
• Prepare invoices and payment entries
• Reconcile bank accounts and supplier balances
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintain financial records and supporting documents
• Assist with monthly closing activities
• Support VAT preparation and ZATCA requirements
• Prepare basic financial reports
• Coordinate with auditors when required
