Job summary

OVEEQ Technologies is looking for an experienced IT Technician Field Support Technician to perform IT installations, structured cabling, maintenance and on-site technical support at customer locations in Riyadh.

The role requires hands-on hardware and networking knowledge, ability to work independently, and willingness to travel to client sites; 2–3 years experience and Saudi driving license preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on IT technician field-support experience
• Diploma/Bachelor's in IT Networking or related field preferred
• A Network CCNA or similar certifications are advantageous
• Good English communication; Arabic highly preferred
• Saudi driving licence preferred
• Transferable Iqama preferred
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites throughout Riyadh
• Previous system-integrator or IT solution-provider experience preferred
• Practical computer hardware networking and structured-cabling knowledge

Responsibilities

• Install and configure desktops, laptops, Windows and business apps
• Install and troubleshoot printers and office peripherals
• Diagnose hardware, software, LAN and Wi-Fi issues
• Install switches, access points and related equipment
• Perform structured cabling and network installations
• Terminate RJ45 patch panels and keystone jacks
• Install and organize network racks and cabinets
• Test, label and troubleshoot network cabling
• Provide first-line customer technical support
• Escalate issues to IT Engineer
• Complete service and installation reports after site visits

Job Summary

OVEEQ Technologies is looking for an experienced IT Technician Field Support Technician to perform IT installations structured cabling maintenance and technical support at customer locations The technician will handle routine field work independently and assist IT Engineers with larger infrastructure projects

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure desktops laptops Windows and business applications
• Install and troubleshoot printers and office peripherals
• Diagnose common hardware software LAN and Wi-Fi issues
• Install network switches access points and related equipment
• Perform structured cabling and network installations
• Perform RJ45 patch-panel and keystone termination
• Install and organize network racks and cabinets
• Test label and troubleshoot network cabling
• Perform professional rack and cable management
• Assist engineers with servers firewalls and infrastructure projects
• Provide first-line customer technical support
• Replace and upgrade computer network hardware
• Escalate advanced issues to the IT Engineer
• Complete service and installation reports after site visits

Technical Knowledge

Compensation
