Job summary

Avensys Consulting in Dammam is seeking an IT Supervisor with 6+ years of IT leadership to oversee governance, infrastructure, and applications across the group.

The role emphasizes ERP, cloud, and cybersecurity expertise, multi-entity coordination, and strategic IT planning.

A bachelor’s in IT or CS is required; a master’s or certifications are preferred, with strong vendor management and budgeting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (ITIL, PMP, CISSP, etc.) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT, including managerial roles.
• Experience in multi-entity / holding group structure is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a group-wide IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Establish IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks across all entities.
• Standardize systems and processes where applicable across subsidiaries.
• Advise management on IT risks, investments, and opportunities.
• Oversee all IT infrastructure including networks, servers, and cloud systems.
• Ensure high system availability, performance, and reliability.
• Manage IT support services including helpdesk and incident management.
• Supervise IT vendors and outsourced services.
• Manage ERP systems and business applications across multiple business lines.
• Ensure integration and data consistency across group systems.
• Oversee system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Support business units in selecting appropriate technology solutions.
• Develop and enforce information security policies and controls.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and incident response planning.
• Ensure protection of company data and digital assets.
• Maintain cybersecurity awareness across the organization.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across the group.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
• Promote data-driven decision-making through analytics tools.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
• Prepare and manage the IT budget for the group.
• Optimize IT costs while maintaining service quality.
• Manage procurement of IT systems, licenses, and services.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
