Job summary

Smart Technology Solutions is a Saudi-based technology solutions provider delivering IT infrastructure, systems integration, and business technology services to public and private sector clients. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in Network / IT Infrastructure Projects.
• Strong knowledge of VLANs, Switching and basic Routing, with familiarity with TCP/IP and Subnetting preferred.
• Hands-on experience with managed Layer 2 / Layer 3 switches.
• Good understanding of Wi-Fi networks, PoE, Fiber Optics, SFPs, and structured cabling.
• Basic knowledge of Firewalls, NAT, and VPN technologies.
• Ability to read network diagrams, technical drawings, and project documentation.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure network infrastructure, including switches, wireless access points, VOIP, CCTV, access control and related systems.
• Perform network configuration including VLANs, IP addressing, routing, switching, and basic firewall configurations.
• Participate in site surveys and review project requirements, drawings, and BOQs.
• Supervise and coordinate installation activities with vendors, contractors, and other project teams.
• Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues during project implementation.
• Support the implementation and integration of systems such as CCTV, Access Control, IP Telephony, Wi-Fi, Meeting Room & AV Solutions, Digital Signage, and other ELV / ICT systems.
• Perform testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, IP/VLAN plans, configurations, and As-Built documentation.
