Job summary

LanceSoft Middle East is looking for an Operations Support Engineer to ensure the smooth, secure, and continuous operation of IT systems in a live environment. You will provide Level 1/2 support across Windows servers, workstations, and basic network infrastructure.

You will troubleshoot system issues, monitor logs, perform preventive maintenance, support deployments and patching, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to maintain system uptime and reliability.

Qualifications

2–4 years IT Operations or Technical Support experience.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure in a live, business-critical environment.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 and Level 2 operational and technical support.
Monitor, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day system issues.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Windows Client OSes.
Analyze Windows Event Viewer and logs to identify issues.
Perform routine system health checks and preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for escalations and incident resolution.
Maintain incident records and update IT service management/ticketing systems.
Support system patching, deployments, backups, and restarts.
Follow SOPs, security procedures, and data protection standards.
