Job summary

MM Management Consultant seeks a Sales Engineer with 5–6 years of experience in process instrumentation sales. You will prepare technical and commercial proposals for field, level, and flow instrumentation, and for field interface products.

You will engage customers, respond to technical queries, and participate in online meetings to tailor application-based solutions. The role covers keeping proposals aligned with RFQs, bidding documents, and tender requirements, with regular sales reporting

Qualifications

• Graduate in Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in proposal preparation and sales of process control/instrumentation products.
• Experience with Power, Water, Refinery, Petrochemical, or related process industries.
• Hands-on experience with major instrumentation brands (Yokogawa, Emerson, ABB, Siemens, Magnetrol, Vega, Endress+Hauser, Honeywell).
• Strong technical understanding of process instrumentation, proposals, customer interaction, and application-based selling.
• Good communication, negotiation, presentation, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for Field Instrumentation products (Pressure/DP/Temperature, Flow Meters, Wireless instruments, analyzers).
• Prepare Level Instrumentation proposals (GWR, Level Gauges, Radar Transmitters, Displacer Switches).
• Prepare Flow Instrumentation proposals (Orifice, Venturi, Pitot, Restrictions).
• Handle proposals for Field Interface Products (DAS, Controllers, Signal Conditioners, Junction Boxes, Terminals, Power).
• Understand customer requirements and provide instrumentation solutions.
• Respond to customer technical queries and participate in online meetings.
• Identify customer needs and provide application-based solutions.
• Prepare and review bids based on RFQs and tender documents.
• Promote products via meetings, emails and sales activities.
• Follow up on quotations/bids until PO receipt.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports.
