Job summary

Client of AIQU in Riyadh is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and maintain our core infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of Linux and Red Hat-based systems and IBM hardware.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives, drive infrastructure improvements, and automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux expertise.
• Experience managing IBM server hardware and OS patching.
• Proficient in shell scripting for automation.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with shell scripting for automation and task orchestration

Preferred Qualifications

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification
• IBM Certified Specialist in Power Systems or System z
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing)
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Experience with performance monitoring tools and capacity planning
