Job summary

Client of AIQU in Riyadh is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and maintain our core infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of Linux and Red Hat-based systems and IBM hardware.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives, drive infrastructure improvements, and automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux expertise.
• Experience managing IBM server hardware and OS patching.
• Proficient in shell scripting for automation.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Linux/Red Hat server environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot IBM hardware platforms and OS.
• Implement monitoring, backup, and recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with security, network, and app teams to ensure service delivery.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Document system architecture, procedures, and incidents.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
