Job summary

DS DeepSource in Riyadh seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure, spanning servers, virtualization, cloud, storage, networking, backup, and security.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, ensure high availability, lead DR efforts, document architectures, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with security, network, database, and cloud teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• 3+ years of IT infrastructure experience in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or hybrid-cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing.
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage, backup, DR.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Manage Windows Server and/or Linux systems, including patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V, or equivalent technologies.
• Support cloud and hybrid-cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft infrastructure services.
• Configure and maintain enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure and coordinate with network and security teams when required.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity, and performance and proactively address potential issues.
• Implement infrastructure security standards, access controls, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in high-availability, disaster recovery, migration, upgrade, and infrastructure transformation projects.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, procedures, and operational standards.
• Automate routine infrastructure activities using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or infrastructure automation platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Work closely with application, cybersecurity, network, database, and cloud teams to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Follow ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
