Detailed Job Description

As an Information Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting the organization’s infrastructure, systems, applications, and data from evolving cyber threats. You will be responsible for monitoring security events, managing vulnerabilities, coordinating incident response activities, and supporting the deployment and administration of security technologies across on-premises and cloud environments. Working closely with internal IT teams, outsourced SOC providers, and business stakeholders, you will analyze security risks, recommend remediation strategies, and ensure compliance with established cybersecurity standards. The ideal candidate is a technically strong cybersecurity practitioner who can identify threats, respond to incidents, and actively contribute to the organization’s security posture through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and conduct security reviews across Microsoft 365 environments.
• Monitor and manage enterprise security tools including SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management solutions.
• Perform security monitoring, threat detection, incident investigation, and response activities.
• Identify, assess, prioritize, and coordinate remediation of security vulnerabilities.
• Support the implementation and management of firewall, WAF, network security, and infrastructure security controls.

• Manage and review Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) controls.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong incident detection, investigation, response, and remediation experience.
• Knowledge of cloud, network, endpoint, application, and infrastructure security principles.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning, analysis, and remediation processes.
• Working knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
