Job summary

Almarai is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to oversee large-scale ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation, routine upkeep, and accurate reporting across the industrial refrigeration footprint.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a technical college certificate.
• Certificate in large-scale ammonia and Freon systems preferred.
• 4–6 years' experience in maintenance of industrial ammonia/Freon refrigeration equipment.

• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Competencies: literate, proactive communicator, cost conscious.

Responsibilities

• Maintain industrial Ammonia/Freon/Glycol equipment to prevent product loss.
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs per guidelines.
• Monitor and record operating parameters in the area.
• Ensure uninterrupted, safe operation of refrigeration equipment.
• Submit reports and advise management on maintenance needs.

About the Role:

To ensure that all divisional Industrial large-scale ammonia/Freon/glycol equipment is maintained well, ensuring no product loss due to lack of refrigeration.

• To ensure that all industrial Ammonia / Freon / Glycol units are maintained and reliable at all times.
• Ensure to carry out routine maintenance and repair of Ammonia / Freon / Glycol systems as per best practice, requirements and established guidelines.
• Ensure to monitor and record all operating parameters/information within the area of responsibility.
• To ensure an uninterrupted supply, trouble-free and safe operation of all Ammonia / Freon Refrigeration equipment.
• Ensure to submit consistent reports, advise management on required maintenance and ensure that logbooks are complete and accurate.

Requirements:

• At least a graduate with 2–3 years technical college certificate.
• A certificate in large-scale industrial Ammonia and Freon systems, SABRO preferred.
• 4-6 years' experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial large-scale ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment.
• Good knowledge in Industrial Refrigeration/control systems/electrical/computer controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication English skills.
• Must have competencies such as: Literate and numerate, with good English language speaking, reading and writing skills, Cost conscious, excellent communicator with a proactive approach.
