Job summary

Fragomen in Riyadh seeks a qualified in-house lawyer to join the Firm's EMEA Office of General Counsel, providing legal counsel to ME offices and reporting to the Associate General Counsel for EMEA in London.

The role focuses on contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, sanctions, client onboarding, and corporate secretarial duties, with opportunities to work on future office openings within a global, diverse team.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with background in contract negotiation and drafting.
• Experience managing projects and delivering training.
• Preference for in-house experience or move-in-house.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and negotiate long-term contracts with major clients and suppliers.
• Provide strategic regulatory compliance guidance and advisory support.
• Assist in sanctions determinations for permissible work.
• Support onboarding of new clients and staff training.
• Attend to corporate secretarial functions and governance.
• Contribute to future office openings and strategic initiatives.
• Respond to client surveys on legal and compliance initiatives.
