Job summary

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts in Saudi Arabia seeks a Hygiene Officer to uphold hygiene, sanitation and food safety standards across the hotel. You will conduct inspections, document findings, and support HACCP implementation, collaborating with culinary, Food & Beverage, stewarding, housekeeping, and engineering teams.

We require a diploma or bachelor’s in related fields, HACCP/ISO certifications a plus, and at least two years of relevant hotel experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bach­elor’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, Microbiology, Public Health, Hospitality, or related field.
• Two years of experience in hygiene, sanitation, food safety, or quality control, preferably in hotels or food-production environments.
• Good knowledge of HACCP, food-safety controls, sanitation procedures, and allergens.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and food-safety standards across the hotel.
• Conduct kitchen, storage, and service area inspections and document findings.
• Support HACCP and food-safety management systems and training for colleagues.
• Prepare regular hygiene and food-safety reports and assist audits.
