Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Saudi Arabia to lead and motivate a team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across operations. You will coordinate room allocations, inspect rooms, and liaison with Front Office to handle guest requests and arrivals.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in a similar position within an international hotel chain, preferably IHG, with fluent English and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school certificate required; hotel school qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position within an international hotel chain, preferably IHG.
• Good command of English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
• Smart, well-groomed, professional, and able to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and external parties.
• Ability to prepare reports, maintain records, interpret information, and deliver training.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required.

Responsibilities

• Support departmental goals, financial targets, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage storage areas and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
• Assist with staff training and work scheduling.
• Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure compliance with departmental standards.
• Conduct staff briefings, provide coaching, and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure excellent guest service and promptly address guest requests and complaints.
• Coordinate room allocations, inspections, and arrival room priorities.
• Liaise with Front Office and manage guest requests, valet services, calls, and lost property.
• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, fire safety, and hotel security procedures.
• Report incidents and accidents promptly.
• Support sustainability initiatives and coordinate special housekeeping projects.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of room types, layouts, facilities, and housekeeping systems.
