Job summary

Jobtailor in Riyadh seeks an experienced Electrical HV technician to manage maintenance and E&C for GIS SS substations. You will lead site teams, coordinate with OEMs, and ensure safety compliance and high productivity in demanding environments.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electrical Field, 5+ years HV switchgear experience, MS 365 proficiency, and strong English communication. Travel to remote Saudi sites is required while delivering quality repairs and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Field required.
• Minimum 5 years in high voltage switchgear.
• E&C of GIS SS site services maintenance.
• Proficient in MS 365.
• Willing to work across remote sites in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site safety and perform LOTO per GE and customer rules.
• Apply GEV EHS rules to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Carry out E&C activities for 230 kV and 380 kV GIS substations.
• Troubleshoot and repair live substations.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance per procedures.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of substations.
• Maintain back-office reports, test reports, and site docs.
• Coordinate with OEMs and factories to resolve NCs.
• Provide technical assistance during installation and project execution.
• Lead site team or act as site lead with task allocation.
