Job summary

Samsung E&A is seeking a qualified Scaffolding Inspector to oversee large-scale scaffolding installations, ensuring compliance with ADNOC and international standards. The role involves coaching, training, and culture-program facilitation on a major project site.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of relevant experience, a CISRS/ADNOC training background, and the ability to interact with management and field teams. ADNOC approval is a plus; project-based package offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in HSE, Engineering, Project Management or Psychology; CISRS Certified/ADNOC Approved Training Centre
• Minimum 10 years of experience; ideal candidate over 40 years old
• Scaffolding Inspector Training from CISRS/ADNOC Approved Training Center; ADNOC approval and work experience advantageous

Responsibilities

• Coaching & advising related to Culture program elements on site.
• Training Supervisors, TBM Leaders and workers; field coaching.
• Deploy all components of the Culture program on the Project; facilitate meetings and learning teams.
• Assist subcontractors with implementation of culture improvement recommendations.

Job Description

Job Summary

• Given the anticipated large-scale scaffolding installation across the project site, a qualified scaffolding inspector is essential to ensure that all scaffolding is erected in compliance with international standards and project-specific requirements.

Roles and responsibilities

Coaching & advising relating to Culture program elements:

• Focus on those leading from the front regarding implementation of key culture activities.
• Coach SE&A & Subcontractor SI’s, Supervisors, Foreman and Worker teams.

Training & Field Coaching

• Culture training for Supervisors, TBM Leader, Workers
• Field Coaching (TBM Leader, Workers)
• Project HSE Trainer

Program Management facilitation

• Deploy all components of the Culture program on the Project
• Collect the required assurance components for HQ to establish all the Culture levels.
• Facilitate the Learning Teams meetings.
• Support the facilitation of the S.A.Y Leadership Team meetings.
• Conduct effectiveness assessments.
• Assist Subcontractors with the implementation of culture improvement recommendations.

Qualifications

Education

• Degree in relevant subject such as HSE, Engineering, Project Management, Psychology etc. Must have completed the CISRS Certified/ADNOC Approved Training Centre

Experience

• Ideal person over 40 Y/O with minimum 10 years' experience.

Job Related Training Program

• Scaffolding Inspector Training from the CISRS/ADNOC Approved Training Center. ADNOC Approval & Work Experience will be added advantage.

Technical and Behavioral Competencies

• Compliance with ADNOC Standards (HSE-OS-ST 16) & Regulations BS EN 12811.
• Review scaffold design calculations and drawings before erection. Confirm scaffold load classification (Light / Medium / Heavy Duty).
• Ensure only trained & certified (03rd Party From ADNOC Approved Training Center's) scaffolders erect, modify, or dismantle scaffolds.
• Ensure scaffolds comply with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications (If Required).
• Scaffolding Inspector Certified from an accredited 3rd party such as Construction Industry Training Board (CITB)/Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) or equivalent and also from ADNOC Approved Training Center
• Extrovert (outgoing). Be able and willing to speak to all levels: management, supervisory and workers
• Conduct field coaching and interact with all levels within a construction project.
