Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced HSE professional in Riyadh to lead health, safety and environmental efforts on major projects. You will conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with local and international standards.

The role requires 5+ years in HSE roles, a relevant engineering degree, and NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA certifications. You will drive risk management, investigations, training, and liaison with authorities to maintain permits and strengthen safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (construction, civil, or related field).
• NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA certifications or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in HSE roles on building, road, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian and international HSE regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits for HSE compliance.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor activities to ensure health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Review and evaluate safety plans and risk assessments.
• Provide HSE training and raise safety awareness.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses; determine root causes.
• Prepare reports and track HSE performance metrics.
• liaise with regulatory agencies for permits and licenses and maintain them.

Job Description

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies
• Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented
• Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Review and evaluate safety plans and risk assessments for various projects
• Provide HSE training and awareness sessions to staff and subcontractors, promoting a strong safety culture
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures
• Prepare detailed reports on findings, corrective actions, and HSE performance metrics
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained
• Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and implement necessary adjustments to company policies
• Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies for projects
• Support the creation and execution of emergency response plans, including conducting drills and training exercises
• Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to integrate HSE practices into all aspects of operations

Qualifications
