Job summary

Client of Gulf Workforce is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee operations across healthcare facilities in Makkah and Jeddah. The role requires strong hospital or large-scale hospitality housekeeping experience, with a focus on infection prevention, QHSE, and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities include leading housekeeping across multiple hospitals, developing supervisors, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and coordinating with clinical departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Facility Management, Healthcare Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing housekeeping operations in hospitals, healthcare facilities, or large hospitality environments.
• Healthcare/hospital experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing large housekeeping teams and operational performance.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, infection prevention, and healthcare hygiene standards.
• Knowledge of QHSE and hospital accreditation standards.
• Strong leadership, planning, reporting, and communication skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Experience managing female staff accommodation is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel between Makkah and Jeddah as required.

• Manage and develop housekeeping supervisors and teams.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, infection prevention, and patient experience.
• Establish and standardize housekeeping procedures, cleaning protocols, and service standards.
• Oversee housekeeping services across patient, clinical, public, and administrative areas.
• Manage linen services, housekeeping supplies, equipment, and external contractors.
• Coordinate with nursing, medical, infection prevention, and other support departments.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and performance reviews.
• Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage staffing, workforce planning, scheduling, and operational budgets.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare quality, safety, QHSE, and accreditation standards.
• Support new hospital openings and operational readiness.
• Prepare operational and KPI reports for management.
• Identify and implement corrective actions for operational and safety issues.
• Escalate critical risks that may affect patient care or hospital operations.
