As a Hospice Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with terminal illnesses, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being during their final days.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor and document patient's condition and report any changes to the physician
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
• Educate patients and families on end-of-life care and pain management techniques
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to address any medical needs of patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Follow all hospice policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
