Job summary

ABIS (Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co.) seeks a senior PS Execution Incharge / Head - Mechanical for shutdowns/turnarounds in the Oil & Energy sector. You will lead mechanical execution, develop plans, schedule activities, and ensure safe, on-time delivery of critical shutdown projects.

Ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree with 10+ years in shutdowns/turnarounds and 3+ years in management. Strong leadership, planning, and safety knowledge are essential for this high-stakes role

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in mechanical shutdowns/turnarounds in Oil & Energy.
• 3+ years of managerial/leadership experience.
• Strong planning, risk assessment, and safety knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead all mechanical shutdown and turnaround activities from initiation to completion.
• Lead and coordinate the execution team to ensure timely and safe project delivery.
• Develop detailed execution plans and schedules in alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor and control project progress, performance, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all phases of the shutdown.
• Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders for seamless execution.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with mechanical shutdown operations.
• Conduct post-shutdown reviews and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
