Job summary

ABIS is seeking a Planning Incharge specialized in Mechanical with expertise in Shutdown & Turnaround activities within the Oil & Gas sector. The role leads planning and scheduling to ensure efficient execution and timely completion of mechanical shutdown and turnaround projects.

The candidate coordinates with engineering, maintenance, and operations to develop detailed work plans, manage schedules, and mitigate risks related to delays or resource constraints, while ensuring adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in planning and managing mechanical shutdown and turnaround projects in the Oil & Gas industry; minimum 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proficient in project management and scheduling tools, especially Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of shutdown and turnaround processes, procedures, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle complex project schedules.
• Experience with Saudi Aramco or similar oil & gas clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling of mechanical shutdown and turnaround projects; ensure efficient execution and timely completion.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to develop detailed work plans and manage schedules.
• Mitigate risks associated with delays or resource constraints and optimize resource allocation.
