Job summary

QNB Group in Riyadh seeks an experienced Credit Risk professional to manage the end-to-end credit approval process for corporate and retail proposals. You will assess credit exposures, ensure adherence to Basel II guidelines, and drive risk-process improvements.

You will collaborate with Compliance and other departments to maintain robust risk controls, while supporting KPI development and SLA adherence across the function.

Qualifications

• University graduate with a major in Engineering or Business Administration; Masters preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a major bank, at least 2 years in a risk function.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication; Basel II credit risk knowledge; strong modelling and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit assessments and provide approvals within delegated authority.
• Ensure compliance with credit risk policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers for timely documentation and evaluation.
• Review credits against risk policies, prepare KPIs, and support SLAs with overseas operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and staff development within the risk function.
