Job summary

Career Nest Academy is seeking a seasoned Head Chef to lead the kitchen for a new opening along Al Khobar's waterfront. The role centers on French Mediterranean cuisine, with a focus on light, seasonal, and ingredient-led dishes.

You will build and manage a brigade of about thirty, ensure brand standards, and drive cost control and quality in a high-profile, tax-free setting. The successful candidate will bring pre-opening experience, a strong kitchen leadership background, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Head Chef experience, ideally including a pre-opening.
• French or Mediterranean cooking foundation required.
• A leader who develops junior chefs, not only directs them.
• Fluent English; another European language is an asset.

A chic all-day restaurant on the Al Khobar waterfront, opening this autumn as the first Saudi site for a concept already running internationally.

You lead the kitchen for a new opening and bring the culinary concept to life. French Mediterranean cuisine is the foundation — light, seasonal and ingredient-led.

What the role covers

• Lead the daily kitchen operation and own the standards set by the brand executive chef
• Build, lead and develop a brigade of around thirty
• Manage food cost, portion control and waste with rigour
• Own supplier relationships, purchasing and stock levels
• Hold quality and hygiene standards without exception

What we're looking for

• Proven Head Chef experience, ideally including a pre-opening
• A French or Mediterranean cooking foundation
• A leader who develops junior chefs rather than only directing them
• Fluent English; another European language is an asset
