Job summary

Dussmann Ajlan & Bros invites applications for a Hard Services Consultant - Mechanical position based at our Headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will provide technical support and governance for Hard Services delivery, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with SLA/KPI targets and HSE standards.

Role involves tracking PPM, audits, and maintaining CAFM/CMMS data, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and asset readiness during mobilization and transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in FM, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• IWFM Level 4 or above or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years FM facilities management experience.
• Experience with hard services operations and contractor monitoring.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and PPM/Audit governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of Hard Services delivery and monitor contractor compliance.
• Offer technical guidance on mechanical systems per standards and specs.
• Track PPM schedules and reactive work orders in CAFM/CMMS; close backlogs timely.
• Collect and validate performance data and support SLA/KPI reporting.
• Conduct inspections/audits; identify non-compliance and track NCR/CAPA.
• Ensure SOPs, permits, method statements, and maintenance records are compliant.
• Support permit-to-work compliance, safety inspections, and risk mitigation.
• Assist with asset verification and readiness during mobilization.
• Prepare reports on PPM performance, backlogs, incidents, and issues.
• Coordinate with FMC team, contractors, and client reps for smooth service.

Dussmann Ajlan & Bros is pleased to announce a new career opportunity for the position of Hard Services Consultant - Mechanical, based at our Headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose

Provide technical support and governance for Hard Services delivery across assigned sites, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, SLA/KPI targets, and HSE standards. Support contractor performance monitoring, PPM execution tracking, and audit readiness to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of mechanical and MEP systems.

Technical Knowledge

• Working knowledge of mechanical and MEP systems.
• Understanding of FM standards, including SFG20, NFPA, SBC, CIBSE, and ASHRAE.
• Awareness of ISO 41001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
• Knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance tracking, permit-to-work systems, SLA/KPI monitoring, inspections, and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the technical oversight of Hard Services delivery and monitor contractor compliance.

• Assist with asset verification, documentation review, and readiness activities during mobilization and transition.
• Prepare reports covering PPM performance, backlogs, incidents, and technical issues.
• Coordinate with the FMC team, contractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth service delivery.

Systems and Digital Tools

Proficiency in CAFM/CMMS platforms such as Maximo, PMS procedures, KPI monitoring tools, reporting dashboards, and document-management systems such as SharePoint or EDMS.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Facilities Management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Mandatory Certification

IWFM Level 4 or above, an equivalent professional certification, or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Certifications

ISO 41001 awareness, NEBOSH, BICSc, or PMP.
