Job summary

BEC Arabia seeks an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead on-site mechanical teams across Khobar-based projects. You will oversee HVAC, plumbing, and related installations, ensuring quality and safety in line with SBC and international standards.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and foremen to drive efficiency, enforce safety protocols, and deliver on-time results for iconic infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical works within the construction industry.
  • Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system installations.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other relevant regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA and ISO 45001.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration (or eligibility for registration).
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of mechanical technicians and laborers on-site.
  • Ensure that all mechanical works are executed in compliance with project specifications, SBC, and safety standards.
  • Monitor the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client requirements.
  • Plan and allocate resources, including manpower, tools, and materials, to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other foremen to resolve technical issues and optimize workflows.
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Train and mentor junior staff to enhance team capabilities and safety adherence.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of mechanical components and materials.
  • Implement and enforce safety measures, ensuring compliance with OSHA and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Report regularly to site management on project progress, challenges, and resource needs.
  • Participate in site meetings and contribute to planning and problem-solving discussions.

About the Role

BEC Arabia is looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Foreman to join our dynamic Construction team in Khobar. As a Mechanical Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating mechanical works on some of the Kingdom's most ambitious infrastructure and construction projects. You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring that all mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other foremen to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within large-scale commercial, residential, and industrial projects. This role is critical to BEC Arabia's commitment to delivering world-class construction solutions that align with Saudi Vision 2030. Working Conditions
  • Work is primarily conducted on construction sites in Khobar, requiring frequent outdoor activity in varying weather conditions.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
  • May involve extended hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaboration with a multi-national workforce in a fast-paced environment.
  • Occasional travel to other project sites within the Kingdom may be required.
