Job summary

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking an Electrical Technician in Jeddah with hands-on experience in GRMS, BMS, electrical systems, and HVAC troubleshooting. You will support the Engineering team in maintaining hotel building systems and ensuring guest comfort.

The role requires understanding control systems, diagnosing faults, and performing preventive maintenance across GRMS, BMS, HVAC, and electrical circuits. Strong diagnostic skills and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical / Electronics / HVAC / Building Automation.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in hotels or commercial buildings.
• Practical knowledge of GRMS and BMS systems.
• Good understanding of HVAC electrical and control systems.
• Ability to use a multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, and other electrical testing tools.
• Ability to read electrical and control drawings.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, controllers, sensors, actuators, relays, and communication networks.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with hotel GRMS systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain GRMS (Guest Room Management System).
• Understand BMS (Building Management System) graphics, controllers, sensors, alarms, and field devices.
• Troubleshoot GRMS/BMS issues including room controllers, sensors, thermostats, actuators, relays, communication faults, and control wiring.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems, including FCU, AHU, thermostats, control valves, actuators, fans, motors, and related control circuits.
• Identify electrical and control faults using electrical testing instruments.
• Check and troubleshoot 24V control circuits, relays, contactors, sensors, and actuators.
• Support HVAC technicians in diagnosing electrical/control-related faults.
• Monitor and troubleshoot communication between BMS/GRMS controllers and field devices.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical and control systems.
• Attend guest room complaints related to AC, temperature control, lighting, occupancy sensors, and GRMS functions.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, control wiring diagrams, and system schematics.
• Coordinate with BMS/GRMS vendors during testing, commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain records of faults, repairs, preventive maintenance, and spare parts.
• Follow hotel safety procedures and electrical safety standards.
• Support other Engineering activities when required.
