Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company seeks a Chief Technology Officer to lead renewable energy engineering for a major portfolio in Saudi Arabia. You will guide grid integration, power systems, and inverter-based resources with 20+ years of experience.

You will mentor engineers, set technical standards, oversee design through commissioning, ensure grid compliance and maintain project competitiveness across EPC, developers, OEMs, or utilities.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in electrical engineering, power systems or grid integration.
• Experience leading technical teams in renewable energy projects.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with inverter-based resources and grid codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership across renewable energy engineering.
• Set engineering standards, technical strategies, and design philosophies.
• Provide input into bids, tenders and early-stage project development, identifying risks and mitigations.
• Lead technical assurance from concept to handover.
• Review and approve key electrical and power systems design decisions.
• Ensure projects meet grid codes, international standards and client requirements.
• Develop engineering solutions to improve plant performance, reliability and grid compatibility.
• Provide technical direction on complex engineering challenges and support project teams.
