Job summary
The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Senior Chief Technology Officer in Riyadh to lead electrical engineering, power systems and grid integration for a growing portfolio of utility-scale renewable projects. You will oversee a team of engineers from early-stage development to commissioning, ensuring robustness, reliability and grid compliance across solar, wind and storage assets.
Ideal candidates will have 20+ years in electrical engineering and proven leadership in EPC, developers, OEMs
Qualifications
- 20+ years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems or renewable energy.
- Experience leading technical/engineering teams in EPC, developer, OEM, utilities or grid operator environments.
- Strong knowledge of grid codes, international standards and renewable generation technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical leadership across renewable energy engineering.
- Set engineering standards, strategies and design philosophies for projects.
- Oversee bids, early development and detailed design with risk mitigation.
- Lead technical assurance through lifecycle from concept to handover.
- Review key electrical equipment selections and grid integration decisions.
- Ensure compliance with grid codes and performance requirements.
- Drive innovations in BESS, hybrid plants and inverter-based resources.
