Job summary
Client of The Green Recruitment Company seeks an experienced engineering leader to own Grid Control & Operations across a portfolio of utility-scale renewables in Saudi Arabia. You will provide technical leadership across solar PV, wind, BESS, hybrid plants, and microgrids, guiding projects from concept to commissioning and performance optimization.
You will manage grid studies, real-time control, SCADA, and interfaces with utilities, ensuring safety, reliability, and full compliance with grid
Qualifications
- 20+ years in power systems, grid control, or energy infrastructure.
- 10+ years in technical leadership or engineering management.
- Deep expertise in renewable energy integration and grid stability.
- Experience with large-scale 1 GW projects or complex grid environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead grid control and real-time operational strategies for utility-scale assets.
- Develop control philosophies for inverter-based resources.
- Oversee network control centre functions including AGC and dispatch.
- Lead commissioning and performance optimisation across projects.
