Le Méridien Al Khobar | 5-Star Luxury Hotel | 333 Guestrooms Overlooking the Arabian Gulf

Position Summary: Le Méridien Al Khobar is seeking an inspiring, strategic, and guest-centric General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations for our 5-star property featuring 333 guestrooms with panoramic Arabian Gulf views. The General Manager will drive operational excellence, brand experience, revenue performance, and associate engagement while ensuring the property delivers on Marriott International’s luxury promise. The ideal candidate is an innovative hospitality professional with a passion for memorable guest experiences, strong commercial acumen, and proven luxury leadership expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership & Operations: Provide overall strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to all hotel departments, ensuring seamless luxury service aligned with Le Méridien brand standards. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation to elevate the guest experience and operational efficiency. Oversee rooms operations, food & beverage, spa/fitness, engineering, and front‑of‑house teams to uphold the highest service quality.
  • Guest Experience & Brand Standards: Champion the Le Méridien brand promise by curating unique guest experiences that highlight culture, cuisine, and discovery. Ensure consistency in service delivery across guestrooms, dining venues, pool areas, tennis facilities, and leisure operations. Resolve guest concerns promptly while driving continuous improvement through guest feedback insights.
  • Commercial & Financial Management: Lead the development and execution of annual business plans, budgets, and financial strategies. Maximize revenue across rooms, F&B, meetings & events, and leisure facilities while ensuring strong cost discipline. Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to optimize market positioning, pricing strategy, and business mix.
  • Meetings, Events & F&B Operations: Oversee the performance and growth of 14 meeting venues capable of hosting up to 450 guests. Support innovative culinary programming across three distinct dining outlets, ensuring menu creativity, quality, and profitability. Maintain strong relationships with key corporate, government, and leisure clients.
  • People Leadership & Culture: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of hospitality professionals with a focus on empowerment, performance, and engagement. Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe work environment aligned with Marriott’s people-first values. Partner with Human Resources to drive talent development, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
  • Asset, Safety & Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and condition of hotel facilities, including guestrooms, public spaces, pool, tennis courts, and fitness areas. Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and Marriott International policies. Protect and enhance the value of the hotel’s physical assets through effective capital planning and preventative maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree desirable.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of leadership experience in luxury hotel management, including prior experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager, or similar executive role.
  • Proven track record of operational excellence, financial results, and guest satisfaction in a 5‑star hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience overseeing multi-outlet F&B, large-scale events, and leisure facilities preferred.
  • Marriott International experience and familiarity with luxury brand standards strongly advantageous.
