A Snapshot of Your Day
As the highest‑ranking executive of Siemens Energy’s newly established transformer manufacturing base in Saudi Arabia, you will have full authority to lead the factory’s construction, production operations, and order fulfillment. Your core mission is to transform this greenfield project from blueprint to a highly efficient, stable, and high‑quality production center, ensuring that production orders are delivered on time, within quality standards, and within budget. You are the top executor of the company’s strategy in the Saudi region.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Strategic Execution and Comprehensive Management: Implement group strategy, develop the factory’s annual operating plans, production budgets, and performance targets, and take full responsibility for the factory’s P&L (profit and loss).
- Factory Construction and Commissioning: Support infrastructure development, lead equipment procurement, installation and commissioning, production line layout, and pilot production to ensure the project is commissioned on schedule, within budget, and meets quality requirements.
- Operational Excellence: Establish and optimize world‑class production management systems to ensure transformer products meet the TR AS targets for production efficiency, product quality, production cost, and timely delivery.
- Order Fulfillment and Customer Delivery: As the chief responsible person for order fulfillment, coordinate production, quality, logistics, and other departments to ensure 100% commitment to customers (including orders allocated within the group), thereby enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Team and Culture Building: Responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, and managing a high‑quality, diverse local and expatriate team. Establish a lean manufacturing culture in Saudi Arabia that aligns with group values and local customs.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all factory operations in Saudi Arabia fully comply with local laws, regulations, labor policies, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Internal and External Coordination: As the company’s top representative at the factory, effectively manage relationships with local government agencies, utilities, and key partners, while maintaining close communication with group headquarters.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, etc.) or Business Administration. MBA or advanced management degree is preferred. At least 15 years of experience in transformer or heavy power equipment manufacturing, with no less than 8 years in production operation management roles.
- Proven experience in factory construction, commissioning, or full‑scale operational management in the Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia. Deep understanding of the Saudi industrial environment, laws, regulations, and culture.
- Proficiency in transformer manufacturing processes, quality control, supply chain management, and lean production.
- Outstanding operational management and strategic execution capabilities, with proven success in P&L management and large‑scale order delivery.
- Excellent leadership, cross‑cultural communication, and team‑building skills. Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal); proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Strong execution and results‑oriented, detail‑oriented, and able to solve problems on the production front lines, exceptional coordination and organizational skills, capable of managing complex projects and multitasking and mature, steady, and possesses outstanding internal and external communication skills.
