Job summary

Qureos is seeking a dedicated General Manager to oversee our agricultural operations specializing in palm trees, fruits, and vegetables. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of modern farming practices, strong leadership, and a track record of elevating productivity and sustainability.

You will lead planting, cultivation, harvesting, and distribution, manage budgets and stakeholders, and report directly to the executive team on performance and strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in agricultural management, focused on palm trees, fruits, and vegetables.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale agricultural operations.
• Strong understanding of modern agricultural technologies and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive operational success.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and sustainability practices in agriculture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance agricultural production and efficiency for palm trees, fruits, and vegetables.
• Lead and manage all aspects of agricultural operations, including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and distribution.
• Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure quality standards and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with agronomists and other experts to optimize crop yields and sustainability practices.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of agricultural operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, and stakeholders within the agriculture industry.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure best practices are implemented.
• Report directly to the executive team and provide insights into operational performance and strategic direction.
