Job summary

CROWN KSA Dammam is seeking a skilled Cans Front End Mechanic to maintain and repair front-end can production equipment in our facility. The role ensures continuous operation and high-quality output.

Candidates should have a technical background in mechanical maintenance, 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, and the ability to read blueprints, use diagnostic tools, and work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends. Safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with can-making equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to quality workmanship.
• Able to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all front-end can manufacturing machinery, including cuppers, bodymakers, trimmers, and flangers.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and proactively address them.
• Replace worn or defective parts, including bearings, gears, belts, and seals.
• Adjust and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and production schedules.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
