Job summary

CROWN KSA Dammam is seeking a skilled Cans Front End Mechanic to maintain and repair machinery in our can manufacturing facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and continuous operation of front-end can production equipment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues, replacing worn parts, reading blueprints, and adhering to safety protocols. Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in mechanical maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience on can-making equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.

• Diagnose mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and proactively address them
• Replace worn or defective parts including bearings gears belts and seals
• Adjust and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality
• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures including Lockout Tagout
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and production schedules
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs
