Job summary

Silver Edge Arabia is seeking a Sales/Trading Manager (Fresh Produce) to lead strategic trading operations in Riyadh. You will drive profitability by analyzing market volatility, securing global supply chains, and ensuring farm-to-table quality across the portfolio.

Responsibilities include monitoring trends, developing supplier relationships, coordinating import/export with cold chain logistics, and managing P&L with a multi-million SAR scope.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fresh produce trading or agricultural commodities.
• Deep understanding of the Saudi wholesale market and SFDA/MEWA import regulations.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing international supply chains.
• Analytical mindset capable of building P&L plans and tracking ROI.
• Ability to thrive in a busy and demanding operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Saudi fresh produce trends and forecast demand across key cities.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships across India, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Oman and Kenya.
• Coordinate complex import/export operations with cold chain logistics (air/sea/reefer).
• Own the P&L for the trading division with an annual product value of 10M SAR and operating budget of 3M SAR.
• Implement SOPs for food safety (SFDA/GSO) and ensure traceability from origin to customer.
