Job summary

Seder Group Trading and Contracting in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Farm Operations Manager to oversee daily farm operations, optimize resource allocation, and ensure production schedules are met for maximum yield.

You will lead agricultural workers, implement integrated pest management, supervise irrigation and fertilizer applications, monitor safety and environmental standards, track inventory, and analyze crop data to drive continual improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of soil science, plant physiology, and sustainable farming practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse workforce.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily farm operations ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to production schedules for optimal yield.
• Manage and mentor a team of agricultural workers, fostering a collaborative environment and providing clear direction on tasks.
• Implement and monitor pest and disease control strategies using integrated pest management techniques to protect crops.
• Supervise the application of fertilizers and irrigation systems, ensuring precise nutrient delivery and water conservation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards, maintaining a secure and sustainable work environment.
• Track inventory of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and equipment, managing procurement and ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Analyze crop performance data and soil conditions, recommending adjustments to cultivation practices for improved outcomes.
• Coordinate the maintenance and repair of farm machinery and equipment, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.
• Oversee landscaping teams, irrigation schedules, and maintenance of green areas and gardens.
