Job summary

CAE Middle East invites applications for a Flight Simulator Engineer to support Riyadh Air’s new training centre in Saudi Arabia. The role involves hands-on maintenance, PMTs, and field support across offices, customer sites, and on-site locations.

You will assist during flyouts, drive PMTs to completion, troubleshoot QTG issues, and coordinate with logistics and training teams to ensure smooth operations. A strong English proficiency and 3–5 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Technical college diploma or degree in electronics, electrical, or aviation.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to shifts.
• Familiarity with aircraft terminology and simulation training devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist during subjective flyouts and perform snag clearance.
• Carry out Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs) and Daily Readiness (DR) on training devices.
• Ensure PMTs are signed off and deficiencies are closed timely.
• Complete recurrent QTG runs and address deficiencies.
• Troubleshoot QTG-related issues with senior staff.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on training devices and update DRs.
• Support senior colleagues during AOG and coordinate with logistics
• Monitor on-site issues and action items, providing clear feedback.
• Record maintenance activities in the Maintenance Management System.
• Comply with CAE EHS standards and safe-working procedures.
