Job summary

LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE GROUP seeks a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and reliability of cranes, heavy lifting equipment, and transport assets for oil & gas projects in Saudi Arabia. You will lead workshop and field teams, implement preventative maintenance, and manage costs to maximise uptime and safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, driving first-time fix rates, and evaluating ageing assets for retirements or replacements across multiple depots and sites.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in heavy equipment maintenance management.
• ≥5 years leading mechanical teams and workshops.
• Experience in crane rental, heavy lifting, or transport.
• Strong knowledge of mobile cranes, hydraulics, and heavy machinery.
• Experience managing large fleets across multiple depots/sites.
• Preventative maintenance and fleet reliability improvement.
• Budgeting, cost control and lifecycle management.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Automotive or related field.
• Experience supporting oil & gas, petrochemical, construction or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Maximise fleet availability across cranes and transport assets.
• Coordinate field and depot maintenance schedules around critical requirements.
• Partner with operations and sales to prioritise maintenance activities.
• Lead mechanical teams to improve productivity and work order completion.
• Control repair and maintenance expenditure against budgets.
• Implement preventative maintenance programmes to reduce breakdowns.
• Maintain breakdown response times under twenty four hours.
• Improve first-time repair effectiveness and prevent recurring failures.
• Evaluate ageing equipment for retirement, disposal, and replacement decisions.
• Prepare disposed assets for export within thirty days after sale.
