Job summary

Jensen Hughes is seeking a Technician - Room Integrity & Fire Life Safety Testing based in Jeddah to support testing of room integrity and fire life safety systems across Saudi Arabia. You will perform hands-on testing for clean agent and gaseous suppression systems following NFPA 2001 and ISO 14520, and assist with related site testing activities.

The role requires a Diploma or technical qualification in a relevant field, 2–4 years of hands-on experience, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Diploma or technical qualification in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related.
2–4 years of hands-on experience in fire protection, testing, commissioning or inspection.
Experience with Room Integrity / Door Fan Testing and NFPA 2001 / ISO 14520 is preferred.
Good English communication with safety and accuracy focus.
Willingness to travel across Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

Assist with Door Fan / Room Integrity Testing for clean agent systems per standards.
Set up and operate Retrotec testing equipment for Fire & Life Safety inspections.
Support smoke control, pressurization, alarm and suppression system testing.
Record test readings and help prepare reports, noting deficiencies.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors and facility teams on site.
Adhere to HSE, permits, security and live facility requirements.
