Job summary

Jensen Hughes in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, seeks an Engineer - Room Integrity & Fire Life Safety Testing to join the Fire & Life Safety Testing team, focusing on Door Fan / Room Integrity testing for clean agent systems per NFPA 2001 and ISO 14520 across Saudi projects. A degree in Fire/Mechanical/Electrical engineering with 3–5 years' related experience, travel readiness, and good English are required.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in fire protection, testing, commissioning or inspection.
Good English communication, detail-oriented, capable of coordinating with multiple stakeholders on site.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct Door Fan / Room Integrity Tests for clean agent systems per NFPA 2001 and ISO 14520.
Set up, operate and maintain Retrotec testing equipment and ensure reliable results.
Conduct and support other Fire & Life Safety testing activities (smoke control, pressurization, alarm and suppression testing).
Record and analyse test results, prepare technical reports, identify non-conformances and suggest remedial actions.
Coordinate testing activities with contractors, consultants, facility operators and authorities.
Comply with HSE, permit-to-work, security and site-specific requirements on live facilities.
