Job summary

Jensen Hughes in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia seeks a Technician – Room Integrity & Fire Life Safety Testing to support testing and inspection services for fire protection systems across the region.

The role focuses on Door Fan Testing of clean agent and gaseous suppression systems in line with NFPA 2001 and ISO 14520, with travel across Saudi Arabia as needed and a hybrid work arrangement where applicable.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in fire protection, testing, commissioning, inspection or related field.
• Experience with Room Integrity / Door Fan Testing and NFPA 2001 is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Retrotec equipment is advantageous.
• Good communication skills in English with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Door Fan / Room Integrity Testing for clean agent and gaseous suppression systems in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
• Set up, operate and maintain Retrotec testing equipment and other testing tools used for Fire & Life Safety inspections.
• Support other Fire & Life Safety testing activities, including smoke control and pressurization, fire alarm and suppression system testing, and emergency lighting checks.
• Accurately record test readings, observations and results and assist in preparing test reports and identifying deficiencies.
• Work closely with engineers, contractors, consultants and facility teams during site testing and inspections.
• Follow all HSE, permit-to-work, security and site requirements, including requirements for working in live and operational facilities.
