Job summary

Jensen Hughes seeks an Engineer - Room Integrity & Fire Life Safety Testing based in Jeddah to deliver specialist testing and inspection for fire protection and life safety systems across Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on Room Integrity Testing (Door Fan Testing) for clean agent and gaseous suppression per NFPA 2001 and ISO 14520, with wider testing duties across sites.

You will work with the Fire & Life Safety Testing team, coordinating with contractors and authorities, while adapting to live

Qualifications

Degree/diploma in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
3–5 years of experience in fire protection, testing, commissioning or inspection.
Good English communication, attention to detail, reporting skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct Door Fan / Room Integrity Tests per NFPA 2001 and ISO 14520.
Set up, operate and maintain Retrotec testing equipment.
Conduct smoke control, pressurization, fire alarm and suppression testing.
Record and analyse results, prepare technical reports and propose remedial actions.
Coordinate testing with contractors, consultants and site operators; ensure site compliance.
Adhere to HSE, permit-to-work, security and site-specific requirements.
