Job summary

Mamo is looking for a Finance Manager to own and drive our day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities. You will be deeply involved with the numbers yourself, redesigning the close process and building scalable controls as we grow.

You will lead the finance team, oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, VAT and regulatory filings, and build reporting, budgeting and analysis for leadership. You will also manage auditor relationships and external finance partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on accounting or finance experience in fintech or fast-growth environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Deep working knowledge of accounting principles, month-end close, and financial controls.
• Experience across multiple legal entities and currencies.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT and DIFC/DMCC compliance is a strong plus.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero).

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process end-to-end and automate cycles as we scale.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting across entities: AP, AR, payroll, cash management.
• Design robust controls over vendor payables to avoid bottlenecks.
• Manage VAT and regulatory filings across entities accurately and timely.
• Build reporting, budgeting and analysis for leadership decisions.
• Maintain auditor relationships and external finance partnerships.
• Architect and improve financial systems and process documentation.
