Job summary

Confidential, a new large-scale steel manufacturing company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Finance Manager to build and run the finance function from the ground up. The role requires leading the finance team, establishing COA, ERP configuration, internal controls, and cost accounting to support rapid plant start-up and growth.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in finance within manufacturing, strong IFRS and Saudi tax knowledge, and CPA/CMA/SOCPA/ACCA/CA certifications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 8–10 years of finance experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Fluent English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP).
• Experience leading a finance team.
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate.
• Start-up or high-growth experience preferred.
• Steel, metals, or heavy industry background advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, SOCPA, ACCA, or CA.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run the finance function: COA, ERP configuration, policies, approval matrix, and internal controls.
• Lead the finance department and cost accounting.
• Prepare budgets/forecasts and manage cash flow and working capital.
• Track capex and project costs through plant start-up.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, suppliers, and government bodies.
• Ensure IFRS and ZATCA compliance (VAT, e-invoicing, withholding tax, zakat).
• Deliver monthly management reports and KPIs to the CEO and leadership team.
• Lead, develop, and coordinate accounting teams (AR, AP, costing, treasury).
• Develop team skills and automate processes.
