Job Summary

The Field Telecom Engineer is responsible for supervising, installing, testing, and commissioning telecom and communication systems at site in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable standards. The role ensures reliable system performance through effective site coordination and technical oversight.

Salary: SAR11000-11600

Experience: 10-15years

Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise installation and commissioning of telecom systems (structured cabling, fiber optic, CCTV, PA, data, and communication networks)
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and telecom standards
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure quality and safety
• Review and implement method statements and work procedures
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and system integration activities
• Monitor site progress and contractor performance
• Resolve technical and site-related telecom issues
• Prepare and maintain site reports, test records, and as-built documentation

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications / Electronics / Electrical Engineering (Diploma not acceptable)
• Minimum 10+ years of field/site experience in telecom works
• Strong knowledge of telecom systems, testing, and commissioning
