Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Service Engineer/Field Service Technician to install, commission, maintain mechanical seals and support customers on-site and remotely. You will install and set up seals in pumps, compressors, agitators, and other rotating equipment; troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document service activities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Service Engineer or Field Service Technician in mechanical seals or rotating equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical seals, seal support systems and related machinery.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical seal issues incl. leakage, wear, misalignment.
• Familiarity with pumps, compressors, mixers, and agitators.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong customer service and ability to explain technical information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up mechanical seals in various systems.
• Ensure installation safety and performance standards.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on seals.
• Identify and troubleshoot failures, provide solutions.
• Repair and replace worn mechanical seals.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support.
• Suggest maintenance practices and improvements.
• Document issues, solutions and performance data.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams.
